Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you have a minimum charge?
A: Yes, the minimum charge for regular cleaning is £30 +VAT, and £50.00 + vat for one-off by appointment services.
Q: Can you give me a quotation without seeing the property?
A: No, because properties vary greatly in size and condition, we cannot give a price until we have seen the property.
However we are able to quote the cleaning just prior to cleaning, it only takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively we can arrange for a free quote before the day of the cleaning so it all set before the day. Either way our office staff are able to give you an estimate over the phone when we arrange either of these.
Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer upon completion of the work. Regular clients with an account will receive an invoice.
Q: Do you charge VAT?
A: Yes, all prices quoted are plus VAT.
Q: What do I have to do?
A: Let us do the work. Once you have met one of our supervisors and showed him/her around the property and what you would like done, you can leave them to it. Because the teams are supervised and come completely equipped and prepared there really is nothing for you to do. So you can get on with your day and return later to a sparkling clean home or office.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: To guarantee the time and day that suits you we suggest booking as soon as possible but 3-4 days is usually enough. As well as working on weekends we try our best to be as flexible as possible and can often carry out work at very short notice.
Q: How many cleaners can I expect and how long will it take?
A: Usually our cleaning teams consist of a supervisor and 2-3 cleaners this may change depending on the size of the property. Our office staff can give you an idea of how long you can expect it to take and when the supervisor has done an assessment they can then give you a better idea.
Q: Can you clean my entire house in one day?
A: Yes, in most cases we can completely clean your house in one day. We do this by increasing the number of cleaners and if necessary the supervisors on the job. We appreciate in some cases this is not practical and we can allow to have a smaller team for extra days.
Q: Can you clean just part of my property?
A: Yes, we can clean as little or as much as you like. We can tailor make a clean just for you.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, all work is covered by Public Liability.

Q: Do you need a deposit?

Q: When can your cleaners come?
A: We have cleaners in London serving all areas and postcodes. We are often able to provide a cleaner or cleaning team in London on the same day, especially if you can call in the morning. We recommend an advance booking so that you have the pick of
appointment dates and times.
Q:What are your working hours?
A: Our cleaners work seven days a week and are very flexible. On weekdays we start between 8 and 8.30am with the latest appointments beginning between 5 and 6pm. Our weekend start time is 9am and we work Saturdays and Sundays. Again, advance booking is recommended for you to get a time and date that suits you best.
Q: Do I have to pay extra for any congestion charges or parking fees?
A: The price quoted includes all taxes and services. The only charges that might apply on top of the price are congestion or parking fees. If you are able to provide a free parking space for the cleaners, you won't pay anything in addition.
Carpet Cleaning Questions
Q: How do you clean carpets?
A: First, carpets are vacuumed to remove any loose dirt, dust or particles. Following vacuumed carpets are pre-treated to help remove stains. Then shampoo is applied to the entire carpet. This is left to sit and then extracted at high pressure with steam and heat. This takes out about 90% of moisture for quicker drying, and removes stains caused by spills, pets and wear and tear. Following the cleaning itself, we deodorize the cleaned areas and, finally, use an industrial fan to minimize the time it takes for the carpets to dry.
Q: How long will it take before my carpet is dry?
A: With steam cleaning, it is usually about 2 hours before the carpet is completely dry. We recommend a 4 hour wait for better protection results.
Q: What if your cleaners damage my carpet?
A: Despite best intentions and proper precautions, accidents can happen. Concerning our company, we are fully insured and will take responsibility for any damage we cause to your carpets or upholstery during a professional cleaning.
Q: Can you clean sea grass, sisal, rayon, or expensive silk or hand-wrought carpets?
A: These materials are very difficult to clean, and steam-cleaning can damage these delicate fabrics by using too much force. Instead, we offer a Professional Carpet and Upholstery Dry Cleaning service specially tailored for delicate and hard-to-clean fabrics. Although Dry cleaning chemicals are more costly and the process is more time consuming, our experience and care in cleaning sea grass, sisal, rayon, silk and hand-wrought carpets and upholstery make it well worth it.
